Ticket prices explode: Bayern game against PSG up to 8000 euros | OneFootball

The anticipation for the Champions League second leg between FC Bayern and PSG is enormous, as can be seen from the ticket prices on the secondary market.

The demand for tickets for the semi-final second leg in the Allianz Arena is enormous. After the official contingents were, unsurprisingly, sold out within a very short time, a veritable price spiral developed on the black and secondary markets.

As reported by L’Équipe, tickets can now hardly be found for less than 1,400 euros – in individual cases, prices of up to 8,000 euros are even being called for. By comparison: in regular sales, prices were originally only between 19 and 200 euros, depending on the category.

The reason for this extreme development is the extraordinary sporting situation. After the spectacular 4:5 in the first leg, everything is wide open in the second leg, with both teams fighting for a place in the Champions League final. The combination of sporting explosiveness, great international appeal and the limited stadium capacity is causing an enormous rush. Even the guest contingent was sold out in no time at all.

Kompany calls for „maximum support“

The special significance of the match is also palpable within the club. Coach Vincent Kompany made an urgent appeal to the fans in the run-up to the game and called for maximum support from the stands: „My only request is: if anyone has bought a ticket and feels uncomfortable on match day, give it to someone who is prepared to give their all.“

„We want 75,000 people to give their all. We absolutely want to win, and to do that we need the support of the fans. We need the power of the Allianz Arena, it’s a legendary place,“ added the Bayern coach, looking ahead to the game.

The atmosphere in the Allianz Arena is set to become the decisive factor – one more reason why some supporters will probably be prepared to accept even extreme prices.
