Tigre keep hold of their top scorer: buy 50% of Russo and extend until 2028

Tigre has reached a verbal agreement with Rosario Central to acquire 50% of Ignacio Russo’s transfer rights and extend his contract until December 2028. Unless something unforeseen happens, the forward will remain one of the key players for the Matador in the upcoming season.

Russo was the top scorer for the Matador in the Clausura, played every match of the tournament, and scored five goals—the same number he had reached in the Apertura. This is important news for Diego Dabove, who was recently renewed as coach.
