Tigre secure Russo: buy 50% and extend contract to 2028

Tigre has reached a verbal agreement with Rosario Central to acquire 50% of Ignacio Russo’s transfer rights and extend his contract until December 2028. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the forward will continue to be one of the key players for the Matador in the upcoming season.

Russo was the top scorer for the Matador in the Clausura, played every match of the tournament, and scored five goals—the same number he achieved in the Apertura. This is important news for Diego Dabove, who was recently renewed as coach.
