Tijjani Reijnders could leave Manchester City after only one season, following a €60 million offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Qadsiah.

Fabrizio Romano reports the clubs have an agreement, leaving the 28-year-old to decide whether to proceed. He is said to be weighing up the switch.

The Dutchman reportedly has reservations about moving to the desert state at this stage of his career, although the financial package would likely exceed what he could earn in England or Türkiye. Nottingham Forest and Galatasaray have also expressed interest.

Reijnders featured regularly under Pep Guardiola last season without being an undisputed starter, making 50 appearances with 15 direct goal contributions, seven goals and eight assists. New manager Enzo Maresca has numerous options in central and attacking midfield, among them €135 million arrival Elliot Anderson, Matheus Nunes, Nico Gonzalez, Mateo Kovacic, Rayan Cherki, Phil Foden and Claudio Echeverri.

City’s midfield picture could yet change if Rodri, who is being heavily courted by Barcelona, does not remain, with no fee agreed. Should he go, the 10-time Premier League champions could re-enter the market, with Enzo Fernandez viewed as the preferred option. The Athletic reports clubs, including City and Real Madrid, have until Friday evening to meet a €140 million price.
