Tim Binder signs professional contract with FC Bayern | OneFootball

FC Bayern have secured the services of Tim Binder on a long-term basis. The German youth international has signed a professional contract through to 30 June 2030. Binder joined the FC Bayern academy from FC Augsburg at the age of 12 in 2019 and has risen through the youth ranks at the Campus.

Christoph Freund, FC Bayern sporting director: “Tim has great potential: he’s fast, strong with the ball at his feet and has a great character. He recently demonstrated his talent in pre-season with the first team. Tim is a prime example of the excellent development opportunities at our Campus. He came to us at a young age and has continually developed in the youth teams. We are delighted to be continuing the journey with him at FC Bayern.”

The attacking midfielder, 19, took part in the preparations for the new season with Vincent Kompany’s first team and was able to impress with strong performances. For the reserve side, he’s featured 20 times to date, scoring seven goals. Binder has also represented the Germany U19 national team four times. He’s currently working towards his comeback from a hamstring muscle tear.
