Timothée Chalamet unveiled Saint-Étienne’s fourth kit live on TF1’s 20:00 news while promoting his new film, Marty Supreme. He did so for his favourite club.
According to L'Équipe, the Franco-American, 30, was a studio guest and the shirt carried number 42, the Loire department code, and a striking colour. He plays a table tennis player in the film.

Chalamet’s affection for the Verts is well known, with family roots in the region. He regularly references the club.
At the recent Golden Globes, he said 2026 would be perfect if Saint-Étienne returned to Ligue 1. The comment underlined his hopes for the team.
For now, ASSE sit fourth in Ligue 2 after Saturday’s 1-0 win over Montpellier.
