Valencia lost 0-2 to Real Madrid at Mestalla. According to Superdeporte, Carlos Corberán’s side arrived on a poor run and under pressure to collect points in the survival fight, and the visitors punished them after the break.

Dimitrievski 6 was a steady presence, saving from Mbappé after a corner. Debutant Núñez 6 recovered from an early miscue to halt Mbappé on 15. Cömert 5 struggled with his long passing and the ball went through his legs for the goal, while Copete 5 read danger reasonably well. Gayà 5.5 defended solidly with limited attacking thrust.

Luis Rioja worked hard as wing-back and winger but a deep role muted him. Pepelu 5.5 tried to organise, Valencia lacked fluency, and a clear Tchouaméni stamp went unpunished. Ugrinic 5 was quiet, while Danjuma 5 drew a Courtois save and improved after the interval.

Beltrán 5.5 linked play far from the box, scuffed a clear opening against Tchouaméni’s foot, then after the restart struck the post following work by Rioja and Ugrinic. Hugo Duro 5 was quiet, then on 60 failed to convert.

From the bench, Guido Rodríguez 5 made his LaLiga re-debut after Wednesday’s Copa del Rey outing. Thierry 5 returned from injury. Javi Guerra 5 drove forward but misplaced the final pass. Sadiq and Ramazani were unrated.

Head coach Carlos Corberán 4 saw his team concede little until Madrid struck, yet Valencia lacked conviction in both boxes and created few attacking moments. Sections of Mestalla again called for his resignation.
