Tolu Arokodare to join Wolves’ Portugal camp amid exit talks | OneFootball

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Tolu Arokodare is flying to Portugal to join Wolves’ pre-season camp despite ongoing talks over a move away.

The striker did not travel with the squad earlier this week for their warm-weather training camp amid interest from other clubs. Loan proposals from Fiorentina and Trabzonspor have been rejected, and he is understood to prefer Italy, with discussions continuing over a potential deal.

He has been training individually away from the group, and with no agreement in place he will now head out on Thursday night to link up for the final two days of the trip.

He is set to train with the team on Friday. A minor calf injury to Adam Armstrong has kept him out for the last few days, so Arokodare has been called in to bolster numbers and give Cesar Peixoto more options.

Wolves signed Arokodare for around £24million last summer and he scored three Premier League goals. He is still expected to leave the club this summer.
