Tomas Cvancara delighted to be in running for Hearts test

New signing, Tomas Cvancara gave his first media conference at Lennoxtown on Friday ahead of the weekend’s big game when the Martin O’Neill’s Celtic side travel to take on Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.

The 25-year-old Czech Republic striker has no worries about being in the running for the game after his arrival just a few days ago from Borussia Monchengladbach.

He said: “I had preparation in Germany, basically a full January, so it’s not a problem to jump in

‘I trust myself, I trust the team, I trust the qualities and I’m not afraid to step in. So, if the manager needs, I’m there.’

“It’s a massive club, so obviously it’s big pressure, but, as I said, I feel ready and we have some goals which we want to achieve, so we go forward and we will go for it.”
