Sunderland’s Trey Ogunsuyi and Timur Tutierov are attracting January attention, while earlier enquiries about a £34.4million-rated striker have been highlighted.

According to a report on Patreon, Ogunsuyi is drawing interest from clubs in England and Scotland after his under-21 displays, and Blackburn Rovers, with Tony Mowbray watching personally, are monitoring Tutierov ahead of January. Sport Witness reports that Sunderland and Aston Villa made summer enquiries for Athletico Paranaense forward Kevin Viveros, valued at £25.8million to £34.4million.

The 19-year-old is expected to be available for another loan in January. Dundee sent a scout to watch him score in the EFL Trophy at Accrington, with Luton Town, Bradford City and Fleetwood Town also watching.

He opened the scoring in a 3-3 draw before a shootout defeat and has been a standout for the development side. Previous senior loans included Falkirk then Shrewsbury Town, where he gained further EFL minutes.

The Ukrainian trained with Régis Le Bris’ first team in pre-season, scoring against Liverpool in the United States, and has since returned to under-21 action, netting Sunderland’s third in that Trophy tie.

Comfortable off the left or across the line, another loan at a higher level could follow if Sunderland seek more senior time for him.

Viveros has maintained prolific form, leading the Brasileirão with 18 league goals and earning a first Colombia call-up, which could matter if English interest returns. Athletico have previously rejected offers around £17.2million and are preparing for a future sale in the £25.8million to £34.4million range after a verbal agreement on a new deal.
