Empoli talent Sebastiano Esposito, scorer of five Serie A goals this season, is among the top 10 Italian performers in Serie A in the opening 17 rounds.

Promising Italian striker Esposito, 22, is in the top 10 for the best Italian players in Serie A so far.

Average player ratings from Italian sports papers published by Fantacalcio* show that the 22-year-old ranks 10th with a 6.35 mark.

Esposito has 11 appearances with Italy U21 but is still waiting for his first senior Azzurri call-up.

Therefore, if he continues impressing with positive performances and goals, seeing him among the new faces at Coverciano at some point in 2025 would not be surprising.

An established Azzurri star is the best Italian player in Serie A so far: Inter midfielder Nicolò Barella. He is followed by his Nerazzurri teammate Federico Dimarco and Fiorentina star Moise Kean, one of the season’s best league scorers.
