Top 20 most valuable teenagers in world football includes Newcastle United 19 year old | OneFootball

A new report has listed the most valuable teenagers in world football.

The report comes from the CIES Football Observatory.

Using their statistical model, they have 113 teenagers playing in 25 leagues and 80 clubs around the world who are estimated to be worth at least €10m (approx £8.8m).

The Premier League has the most (23 players) who are valued by them at €10m or more, ahead of the Bundesliga (16) and the Ligue 1 (11).

The CIES Football Observatory has looked at the players who have not yet celebrated their 20th birthday with the highest transfer value according to their statistical model.

They report that:

‘In four cases, the estimate exceeds €100 million (with add-ons and for 100% of rights) : Lamine Yamal (€350 million), Estêvão Willian (€118 million), Pau Cubarsí (€113 million) and Franco Mastantuono (€102 million).’

No surprise to see Lamine Yamal ranked as the very most valuable teenager in the world, he is still only 18 and has just under six years left on his Barcelona contract. His 350m valuation equals around £308m.
