The seven highest paid players currently at Charlton Athletic
Charlton Athletic enjoyed a successful first year back in the Championship under Nathan Jones.
The Addicks survived relegation back to League One, coming 19th in the table, six points clear of the bottom three.
The London outfit will now be aiming to improve on that result in 2026/27, and perhaps even fight for a place in the top half.
Jones will already be looking at ways to improve the squad between now and the end of the transfer market on 1 September.
But for now, we rank the top seven highest paid members of the Charlton first team, using estimated figures from Capology…

Conor Coventry joined the Addicks in the 2024 January transfer window from West Ham after a series of loan spells to the likes of Peterborough United, MK Dons and Rotherham United.
The 26-year-old has made over 100 league appearances for the club since his arrival, helping the team gain promotion from League One, doing so with a salary of £8,500 per week.

Charlton completed a move for Joe Rankin-Costello following their promotion in 2025, signing the 26-year-old from Blackburn Rovers.
The defender agreed to a four-year deal with the Addicks, and he went on to feature 23 times in the league to help Jones’ side survive relegation.
Rankin-Costello is paid £10,000 per week as part of his contract that runs until June 2029.

Greg Docherty has been a great addition to the Charlton squad since joining in 2024 from Hull City.
The Scot has made a total of 79 league appearances in that time, helping the club gain promotion from League One.
And Docherty still has 12 months remaining on his current contract, which sees him earn £10,000 per week.

Amari’i Bell joined Charlton following their promotion to the Championship last year, making the move from Luton Town, reuniting with Jones.
The 32-year-old made 34 appearances in the league, helping the Addicks cement their status in the division, in what was the first year of a two-year deal.
The defender currently receives £10,000 per week from Charlton, with his contract expiring in 2027.

Matty Godden has had a difficult time with the Addicks over the last 12 months, and was only capable of 11 appearances in the league last season.
But he still played a role in helping Jones’ side gain promotion to the Championship in 2025, and his contract runs until June 2027.
The 34-year-old is currently paid £12,500 per week by the London outfit.
Reece Burke made just 17 appearances in the Championship last season after reuniting with Jones at Charlton in the summer from Luton.
The defender signed a two year deal with the Addicks, earning him a salary of £15,000 per week following the move from Kenilworth Road.

Thomas Kaminski is currently the best paid player at the Valley, with the goalkeeper earning £20,000-a-week.
The Belgian has a contract with the Addicks until June 2028 after joining in the 2025 summer transfer window, and he featured on 37 occasions in the league last season.
