Torcida Jovem, Santos’s largest organised supporters’ group, have met president Marcelo Teixeira and the board to address the club’s precarious form. According to Diario Do Peixe, they framed the run-in as 17 finals, urged tighter protection of the squad and called for cheaper tickets.

The group pressed the hierarchy to seal off the dressing room, team travel and CT Rei Pelé to anyone without a defined role. They also asked the club to act proactively behind the scenes in response to what it termed federations’ missteps.

The visit followed demands raised by players in a meeting on Monday, and the group pushed for payment of the transfer ban plus a stronger supporters’ voice in club communications.
