Torino manager Ivan Juric has slammed Nemanja Radonjic after the 27-year-old Serbian was taken off by the boss minutes after having initially come on against Juventus.
Il Toro had taken the lead quite early in the game against the Bianconeri and while Juve did draw level, they took the lead once again before another equaliser came about. Radonjic had come on in the second half but due to his failure to meet instructions, he was taken off later in the game.
After the 4-2 defeat, Juric spoke to the press about the Serbian and he stated that he’s struggling to turn the winger into a footballer and Radonjic didn’t do what was asked of him during his time on the pitch.
He stated: “Radonjic? There are things I find it hard to understand, there is no respect for this game. He had things to do and he had to respect them and he didn’t. This guy has cues and everything but he didn’t do what I asked him to. I’ve been trying to make him a player for six months but I have struggled.”
The Torino boss further stated: “The thing that made me most angry is that we weren’t concentrated in some situations.”
A win for Torino could have taken the Granata above their local rivals in the table, but they are currently ninth in the table andd four points behind Juve.
