Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed Richarlison wants to leave Spurs

Tottenham are interested in signing Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, with Richarlison set to head in the opposite direction.

Standard Sport understands that the two deals are separate, with both players keen to explore opportunities elsewhere.

Nothing is yet finalised at this stage but there is interest from both clubs to get a deal done before next Tuesday’s deadline.

Roberto De Zerbi confirmed after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Newcastle that Richarlison, who was left out the match day squad, had asked to leave Spurs.

Ndiaye, meanwhile, has turned down multiple contract offers from Everton over the past 12 months and seemingly sees his future away from the club.

The Senegal international, who played the full 90 as Everton snatched a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth, scored six goals and produced three assists for the Toffees last season.

Spurs are in the market for another attacking player despite signing Manchester City duo Omar Marmoush and Savio earlier this week.

Tottenham have spent in excess of £300million this summer but have yet to score a league goal this season.

Following their defeat to Newcastle, De Zerbi also confirmed that Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr had also informed the club they want to leave.

Speaking after the game, he said the club were in the process of finding the best financial solution for each player.

“He said too many times [that] he wants to leave. Danso came to me two days ago, and he said he wants to leave, and Pape Sarr, the same, but he suffer[ed] a small injury, but he is almost ready to train.

De Zerbi has been clear that anyone who wants to leave the club this summer will be allowed to with the Italian unable to offer guarantees over minutes.

“I love these players, they are great guys, I have very good relationships, but if they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go, and we find other players.”

Everton are also in talks with Manchester City over a second loan deal for Jack Grealish and hold a interest in Fulham defender Kenny Tete.
