Tottenham assess Conor Gallagher fitness before crucial Nottingham Forest clash

Tottenham are assessing Conor Gallagher’s fitness before Sunday’s crucial Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest.

According to Nottingham Post, Igor Tudor said on Tuesday the midfielder will have a late test before Wednesday’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Atletico Madrid.

Tudor explained Gallagher was suffering from a virus and possibly asthma-related problems, and that a decision would be made on Wednesday on whether he could be among the substitutes. He added there was no danger, but the player was not currently able to play.

Gallagher missed Spurs’ 1-1 draw at Liverpool on Sunday.

Forest are one place above the relegation zone on goal difference, while Tottenham are one point better off in 16th.
