Tottenham confident in pursuit of Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané

Tottenham Hotspur are seriously interested in making a move for Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané (29), according to Foot Mercato. The 29-year-old Germany international is reportedly undecided over his future, considering his contract with the Bavarian giants expires next month. The outlet reports that Bayern Munich have improved their contractual offer to the former Manchester City winger.

Sané could return to England as he has been offered to a handful of Premier League clubs, the likes of Newcastle United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, or Manchester United. Foot Mercato now understands that Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are the most serious candidate to sign Sané should the latter decide to rejoin the Premier League. The Europa League winners are even confident to sign Sané. The 29-year-old winger has also attracted interest from Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
