In a recent post on X, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye. It has been mentioned that Spurs have agreed on a deal involving Richarlison going the other way for the Senegalese talent this summer.

Ndiaye’s Impressive Numbers At Merseyside Last Season

Ndiaye enjoyed a good run of form at the Merseyside club in the previous campaign when he put in a series of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 26-year-old scored six times and earned three assists in 34 appearances for Everton last season in all competitions.

The Senegalese talent is currently among the most talented wide players in the Premier League. Hence, Spurs would do well to get him on board in this transfer window.

His current contract at the Merseyside club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it tough for Tottenham to land him on a cut-price deal this month.

Is Ndiaye A Good Signing For Tottenham Hotspur Boss Roberto De Zerbi?

Ndiaye is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with it out in the wide areas. He has the vision to create some decent chances in the final third and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.

The Senegalese sensation did well to add a handful of goals and assists to his game last season. Ndiaye is primarily a right-winger but can also operate as a left-sided wide player or play in the number ten position if asked to do so by his manager. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Tottenham if they end up recruiting him in this transfer window.

We can expect Ndiaye to enhance the quality of Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
