Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rejected a bid from Everton for Brazilian striker Richarlison.
The Spurs star wants to join the Hill Dickinson Stadium club, but the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club insist the Toffees’ offer is below their valuation.
The Lilywhites are said to be looking for at least £35 million to sell Richarlison to Everton.
The 29-year-old spent four seasons with the Merseyside club before joining Tottenham in a £60m deal in 2022.
He has featured regularly for Roberto De Zerbi’s side in pre-season, but the Spurs boss wants to sign Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo and his Manchester City counterpart Savinho.
The arrivals of the attacking duo could push Richarlison down the Italian manager’s pecking order.
He has constantly been linked with a return to Everton, and David Moyes wants attacking reinforcements this summer.
The Brazilian played some of the best football of his career during his time with the Toffees and a reunion could be on the cards.
However, Everton must be willing to meet Spurs’ valuation to have any chance of re-signing him.
The Toffees also reportedly attempted to sign Djed Spence before he joined Inter Milan from Tottenham.
They offered £25m for the England international, but Spurs wanted more and he joined Inter in a £30m deal, with a 10 per cent sell-on clause included in the contract.
Everton need to stump up the cash to have a chance of signing Richarlison as the Brazilian has other suitors keeping tabs on his situation.
