A verbal agreement between Brighton and Vušković is already in place.

Brighton are currently the most concrete club in the race, increasing pressure on HSV, whose chances appear to be waning.

The 19-year-old was a crucial pillar of the Hanseatic club’s Bundesliga survival last season, scoring six in 28 appearances.
