Tottenham reject Vasco bid as talks continue over Richarlison | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Tottenham have rejected Vasco’s opening bid to sign Richarlison on a permanent deal, though talks remain active.

The Rio club offered around 10 million euros without bonuses. Pedrinho and Admar Lopes are in discussions with the Londoners about increasing the package.

Vasco do not expect the forward to secure a unilateral termination at Tottenham after he notified the club and went to court over being left off the Premier League list and set to train only with the reserves. On Thursday in London he was reintegrated into first-team training, which came as a surprise.

Vasco believe Tottenham would accept an improved proposal with agreed clauses, but the bigger hurdle is Richarlison’s stance. He is not inclined to sign a long deal in Brazil. The initial idea had been to stay until December 2026 then reassess options abroad.
