Having seen Savio, who joined two days’ prior, make his debut against Charlton in the Carabao Cup - in which he scored his first goal and assisted another - the Egyptian could make his bow this weekend.

Both Savio and Marmoush are fit enough to start the game, but De Zerbi will make a decision on their involvement closer to kick-off, along with that of Kudus.

Kudus has been sidelined since January with a serious quad injury. He was expected to return late last season, but suffered a setback in his recovery and did not feature in any of Spurs’ pre-season games.

Asked about Spurs’ two latest signings, De Zerbi said: "Yes, they are all in the right condition to play. Maybe Kudus can come on the bench. We have to see.

“We have to look to understand the beginning or part of the game, like Savio, like Pedro [Porro] Marmoush is available to play. Maybe also at the beginning of the game."

James Maddison has been sidelined with a fractured shoulder, following a hefty fall during the defeat at Brentford.

De Zerbi said of the midfielder: "Maddison has not a big problem. Just pain in his left shoulder. He's working but I don't know if he's available for tomorrow."

De Zerbi has been cautious with Maddison, despite him making a return to match action towards the end of last season.

The England midfielder saw his minutes limited during pre-season and De Zerbi admits supporters will have to be patient as Maddison tries to put a consistent run of games together.

“No, with James, I think we have to find the right plan. We have to work consistently for three or four weeks and then he is a different player. He is then a different player on the pitch, outside the pitch, as a personality, as an experience. He's a very positive guy and we are lucky to have James in our team. “
