Toulouse confirm signing of Danish midfielder Thomas Jörgensen | OneFootball

Toulouse have confirmed the signing of Danish midfielder Thomas Jörgensen from Viborg on Wednesday. The 20-year-old has agreed a four-year deal.

The fee is set at €7.5m and could rise to around €10m with bonuses. That would make him Toulouse’s record buy, surpassing Wesley Saïd’s €8m arrival from Dijon in 2019.

Jörgensen was recently called into the Denmark national squad but did not make an appearance.

He arrives after a standout season for Viborg, who finished fifth in the Danish league, scoring five goals and supplying nine assists.

He becomes the third Dane currently at the club, alongside new head coach Jens Berthel Askou and captain Rasmus Nicolaisen.
