Spor reports that Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan has confirmed Benfica have made an offer for 22-year-old forward Felipe Augusto. He added there are proposals from four clubs and that the Türkiye side are monitoring Benfica winger Sidny Lopes Cabral.

Doğan said the approach has not moved beyond an initial offer, with no breakthrough so far. He stressed Benfica are not alone in pursuing the Brazilian.

He explained that Cabral had been approved by Trabzonspor’s scouting department before his transfer to Benfica, and that the club are following his situation.

Benfica have been linked with Augusto in the last few hours. The striker is valued at €10 million.

This season for Trabzonspor he has played 37 competitive matches, 31 in the Superliga, five in the Taça da Turquia and one in the Supertaça. Across 2,606 minutes he has scored 15 goals.
