Trabzonspor ‘to move for’ Benfica winger Ivan Lima | OneFootball

Trabzonspor are understood to have initiated contact with Benfica over 21-year-old winger Ivan Lima ahead of the transfer deadline.

The club are trying to free a foreign-player slot before Türkiye’s window closes on 9 February. If that cannot be done in time, the plan would be to complete a deal then loan him out.

Record writes that Lima is open to leaving the Estádio da Luz at this stage of the season.

The winger, who could have joined Sporting, was among the first Seixal graduates brought into first-team work after José Mourinho arrived.

This season he has made 22 appearances for Benfica, 20 with the B team and two with the first team. He has logged 1,211 minutes for Nélson Veríssimo’s side and 14 with the first team, providing one assist.

Lima is valued at 500,000 euros.
