Pep Guardiola’s squad were back at the CFA following the international break.

The City players returned to training after the majority of the first team were away on international duty.

While some enjoyed a fabulous break by securing their places at the 2026 World Cup, the focus is now firmly back on club football.

City face a hectic winter with two games a week as we chase silverware in all four competitions.

And it begins with an extremely tough encounter as we travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle on Saturday at 17:30 (UK).

After winning our last four games in all competitions and moving to within four points of the Premier League summit, City are in good form.

And the players were in determined to mood to maintain that as we hit the training pitches at the Etihad Campus.
