It’s a battle between the WSL and FA Cup champions and the UEFA Champions League holders as the Blues’ pre-season preparations continue to ramp up.

With this season’s Champions League draw set for Friday 4 September, it could also prove a precursor for a clash on the European stage in the coming months.

City began a series of pre-season friendlies in Florence last week, coming away with a 1-1 draw against Fiorentina.
