City begin our defence of the WSL title at home to Birmingham City on Sunday 6 September, with kick-off set for 14:30 (UK).

It promises to be a thrilling clash at the Joie Stadium, with the visitors returning to the top flight for the first time since 2022 after finishing top of WSL 2 last year.

Andrée Jeglertz’s side will be keen to get off to a strong start, though, with the Blues boasting a 100% record on home soil across the 2025/26 campaign.

City have sharpened up in pre-season with clashes away to Fiorentina and Arsenal, while also hosting FC Barcelona and Manchester United at the Joie Stadium.

And while those tests were hugely beneficial, nothing quite beats the cut and thrust of WSL action!
