Djoliba Athletic Club of Mali has officially announced that Amani Lambert Yao will take over as head coach of the first team. The veteran Ivorian manager arrives to rescue Djoliba after a disappointing CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Having been a free agent since his departure from Togo's ASCK Kara in February, Amani Lambert Yao has now signed with Mali's Djoliba AC. The former Ivorian international succeeds his compatriot Boudou Mory, who resigned following a failed outing by the Heremakono side in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The seasoned 62-year-old coach, who previously managed ASEC Mimosas and Afad Plateau, is expected to lead the team in the race for the Malian league and cup titles.
