Lennart Karl has long been one of FC Bayern’s most exciting young players. At just 18 years old, the attacking player has established himself on the Munich first team and has apparently piqued the interest of Europe’s elite clubs. Real Madrid, in particular, is said to be closely monitoring the German youngster.

According to information from fussball-news.de, Karl is high on the “Royals’” wish list. Adding to the intrigue is the fact that the Bayern star has publicly stated in the past that Real is his “dream club.”

However, the Madrid club is by no means the only one keeping an eye on Karl. According to the report, FC Barcelona is also tracking his progress. Arsenal is even said to have sent special scouts to Germany to personally watch the left-footed player in action for Bayern.

International interest in Karl is thus growing by the day.

Liverpool has already made preliminary inquiries with Bayern

Things apparently got particularly concrete with Liverpool FC. The Reds are said to have made informal contact with the German record champions even before Karl’s 18th birthday and to have looked into the young talent’s situation.

In addition, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the development of the Bayern gem. However, there are currently no concrete transfer negotiations underway. Aside from Liverpool’s earlier inquiries, none of the interested clubs are reported to have spoken directly with Bayern’s management about a transfer.

At the moment, the clubs are primarily focused on closely scouting Karl, analyzing his performance data, and tracking his continued development at the German record champions.

The 18-year-old’s playing time could play an important role in this. Should Karl see less playing time than hoped for in the coming months, some interested parties could step up their efforts. Especially with an eye toward upcoming transfer windows, Real, Barça, and the top English clubs are likely to be watching his situation closely.

Bayern is putting a stop to any talk of selling Karl

In Munich, however, there are currently no plans whatsoever to let the homegrown talent go. Karl is under contract with FC Bayern through June 30, 2029, and is considered internally to be a key part of the club’s long-term sporting plans.

Club officials want to develop the attacking player step by step and continuously expand his role with the first team. A sale is therefore not on the table at this time.

Even if Bayern were to change its stance at some point, Karl would likely be anything but cheap. According to information from fussball-news.de, the Munich club would only consider talks if the offer were in the range of 100 million euros. Karl’s current market value is estimated at 60 million euros.

Given his potential, the high level of interest comes as no surprise. Karl can play both in attacking midfield and on the right wing, and he draws attention with his technical skill, his speed in tight spaces, and his goal-scoring threat.

For now, however, FC Bayern holds the upper hand. Karl is under contract for the long term and is expected to continue his career in Munich. Above all, the interest from his self-proclaimed “dream club,” Real Madrid, is likely to make this situation particularly exciting in the future.
