Ipswich wants to keep Cedric Kipre for the long term. The 29-year-old Ivorian, who joined the team on loan last summer, has proven his worth and may continue his adventure in the Championship.
Africa Foot reveals that Ipswich is negotiating with Stade de Reims to secure Cedric Kipre on a permanent deal. The English club’s management is eager to activate the €4.5 million purchase clause.If negotiations succeed, the Ivorian center-back will remain with the Tractor Boys for the next three years.
Since his arrival in July 2025 from Reims, Kipre has quickly become a cornerstone of the Ipswich squad. As a regular starter, he has featured in 23 Championship matches this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
