Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly is set to remain in the Saudi Pro League at the end of the current 2025-2026 season.

With his contract at Al Hilal running until June 30, 2026, the "Lions"' defensive pillar is reportedly in advanced talks with the Saudi football powerhouse to sign a new deal.

According to several sources, the player has a clause in his contract allowing him to extend his stay until 2027.

This sporting decision is motivated by Koulibaly’s desire to maintain his astronomical salary while competing in an elite league.
