Raja Club Athletic has turned down an offer from Saudi Arabia to sign striker Ismail Khafi.According to Africafoot, Raja rejected a bid from Al-Kholood for Ismail Khafi. The Saudi Pro League club was looking to secure the Raja striker on loan to bolster their attacking line.

Despite a modest performance—just two goals in 10 matches—for the former Qadsia player, the Casablanca club's management has decided to give him maximum time to adapt to the Moroccan top flight, the "Botola Pro." The coaching staff still has faith in their 30-year-old forward.

The season is still long. The Moroccan league is only at matchday nine, and Ismail Khafi could yet rediscover his scoring touch and help Raja Casablanca in their push for the Botola Pro title.
