Chelsea are prepared to return with an improved bid for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. The Cherries have rejected a £64m proposal from West London and have no plans to sell Scott. However, Sky Sports say that Chelsea are ready to test their resolve with an increased offer.

Juventus are keen on a deal for free agent John Stones. The England international is weighing up his options after leaving Manchester City and has suitors in Serie A. Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that the Old Lady are looking to tempt the Barnsley Beckenbauer to Turin.
