The young German defender of Togolese descent, Tarek Buchmann, will play for FC Nuremberg in Bundesliga 2 during the 2025-2026 season.

Having arrived in Bavaria at a young age from Augsburg's youth academy, the 20-year-old signed his first professional contract in 2023. However, he did not take part in any pre-season training with the first team.

Seen as a player for the future, the German youth international—who has 13 caps at junior levels—extended his contract until June 2027 before heading out on loan.

Bayern Munich's sporting director, Christoph Freund, praised the young defender in remarks reported on the club's official website, emphasizing that the German champions are counting on him for the future.
