Moroccan starlet Ismaël Baouf is set to be one of the hottest prospects in the upcoming transfer window.

The 20-year-old defender is making waves with his club, SC Cambuur Leeuwarden, competing in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie (Dutch second division).

According to Transfermarkt, the Atlas Cubs defender is on the radar of two French clubs: AS Saint-Etienne and LOSC Lille.

Under contract with his club until 2028, the Charleroi native has seen his market value soar, having played a key role in Morocco's U20 World Cup triumph.

In 19 matches across all competitions during the 2025-2026 season, Ismaël Baouf has netted 6 goals and provided a single assist.

Developed at Belgian clubs Olympic Charleroi (-2016), RSC Charleroi (2016-2022), and RSC Anderlecht (2022-2023), Ismaël Baouf made the move to the Dutch side during the summer 2025 transfer window.
