Having reached the end of his contract with OL, Jérémy Mounsesse is about to kick off his professional career in the National division. The Congolese defender is close to signing with Quevilly Rouen.

While he was initially expected to move to Belgium, it now looks like Jérémy Mounsesse will be landing in Normandy, according to Foot Mercato. At 20 years old, the Congolese U20 international won’t be stepping into the unknown in Normandy, as he’ll be reunited with Kayne Bonnevie. The former OL goalkeeper has been playing for QRM for the past two seasons and is set to help guide his new teammate.

Winner of the Gambardella Cup in 2022 alongside Mohamed El Arouch, Mathieu Patouillet, and Yannis Lagha, Jérémy Mounsesse rose through the ranks at the Academy but won’t make the final leap into OL’s first team.
