Transfers: Southampton loans Daouda Traoré to Italy

The young French-Malian midfielder Daouda Traoré (19 years old) has moved on loan from Southampton to SSC Bari, the club competing in Italy's Serie B.

SSC Bari has officially announced the signing of Daouda Traoré on loan until the end of the 2025-2026 season, with a purchase option included in the agreement between Southampton and the Italian club.

Traoré first made his mark with Nice in France before being signed by Southampton in the summer of 2024. He was then loaned out to Valenciennes last season and to Real Betis for the first half of the current campaign. After these two spells, the young French-Malian talent is now seeking stability in his football journey.
