Travelling squad for Bayern Munich match confirmed | OneFootball

Manchester City's travelling squad for our UEFA Women's Champions League opener against Bayern Munich has been confirmed.

Our return to the Champions League sees us take on the German giants on Tuesday 22 September, with kick-off set for 17:45 (UK).

The Bavarians reached the semi-finals of last season’s competition and enter 2026/27 as reigning German champions.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the sides, with City going on to face Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter and BK Hacken after our opener.

We’ve began our defence of the WSL title with three successive victories against Birmingham City, Aston Villa and Liverpool, scoring 11 goals in the process.
