Mexico kicked off its preparation for the 2025 Gold Cup in the United States this Saturday, playing its first friendly match against Switzerland in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a 2-4 score for the Europeans.

In the starting lineup of the national team, Javier Aguirre sent Raúl Rangel, who played all 90 minutes and made important saves in the first half, and Roberto Alvarado, who came off the bench at 59' after being an important offensive tool. Efraín Álvarez came on as a substitute at 70'.
