Trouble for Barcelona: Another key name added to Hansi Flick’s worrying injury list
Barcelona have confirmed that Dani Olmo will miss approximately one month after suffering left shoulder dislocation during the 3-1 win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
A result that kept the Catalans top of La Liga.
In official announcement on Wednesday, Barca revealed:
“Dani Olmo has suffered dislocation of his left shoulder during Tuesday’s match against Atletico Madrid. After medical evaluation, conservative treatment plan has been chosen. Estimated recovery time: one month.”
Olmo 27 picked up the injury just moments after scoring Barcelona’s second goal in the 65 minute. The midfielder fell awkwardly on his shoulder during the goal sequence and could not continue forcing Ferran Torres to replace him.
Barcelona lead La Liga with 37 point, four ahead of Real Madrid though Los Blancos have match in hand. Olmo’s setback adds yet another concern to Hansi Flick's squad during crucial stretch.
