According to AS, Manuel Pellegrini has named a 23-man Betis squad for Tuesday at Mestalla against Valencia. Troy Parrott is included and goalkeeper De Pablo steps up while Diego Conde recovers.

Parrott arrives from AZ Alkmaar to provide competition for Cucho Hernández. De Pablo has joined from Valladolid's reserve side to act as third-choice keeper.

Abde and Lo Celso remain out of the squad. Abde is training only in part with the group and Pellegrini does not yet consider him ready for selection.

As for Lo Celso, his return is progressing more slowly. He has a muscle injury. The medical staff will judge his evolution, then decide when he rejoins the group and later when he can compete, with different timelines for each step.

Pablo García and Deossa are on the market yet are named in the travelling party. Their departures would enable moves for Ceballos and a defensive midfielder, the latter viewed as the greater priority for Pellegrini.
