ESTAC Troyes sporting director Antoine Sibierski is attracting interest from three Ligue 1 clubs, whilst he has also held talks with Belgian club RSC Anderlecht, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri.
After a season battling against relegation to the National 1 last season, Troyes currently find themselves on course for promotion back to Ligue 1. It has been quite the change in fortune for the club in recent months, with the City Group club’s transfer business lauded.
Their sporting director, Sibierski, is now attracting interest. The former Manchester City, Newcastle United, and Wigan Athletic midfielder has met with the hierarchy of Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht. However, Tavolieri also understands that there is interest from three Ligue 1 clubs: AJ Auxerre, FC Nantes, and AS Monaco. The latter two clubs are at risk of relegation to Ligue 2.
The discussions between Sibierski and Anderlecht, Tavolieri adds, are advancing positively.
