Serie A pacesetters Inter Milan extended their lead over second-placed AC Milan to five points following a dominant 6-2 home win over Pisa on Friday.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have hit the ground running in league action after October’s defeat in Naples.
Napoli secured a highly controversial 3-1 home victory over the San Siro giants four months ago, casting doubt on Inter’s Scudetto credentials.
However, Cristian Chivu seems to have taken that result personally.

Despite hitting a rough patch in the UEFA Champions League, Inter have gone from strength to strength in domestic action.
Indeed, they have racked up an eye-catching 12 wins from their last 14 league outings, losing just once in that sequence.
In doing so, they have established themselves as the most in-form Serie A side.
More importantly, they are now five points clear of the second-placed Rossoneri, who drew 1-1 at Roma last night.
With a comfortable-looking away clash against Cremonese waiting in the wings, it’s only natural to expect Inter to stay on the upward trajectory.
