Almost three years have passed since 7 May 2022, the day of Juventus Women's fifth Scudetto. The Bianconere won five titles in a row, during a relentless period of confidence and unchallenged domination. The feeling was that no one could better that period of domination: the appointment of lifting the trophy at the end of each season was becoming habit, and habit, you know, sometimes gets in the way.

A song that fits like a glove, amidst trials, tribulations and bitter pills to swallow. To tell the truth, amidst the ups and downs, this is a team that has never given an inch; because during the back-to-back league title wins for Roma, Juventus have been able to maintain their high standards, going on to win a Coppa Italia in Salerno in 2023 and an Italian Supercoppa in January 2024 in Cremona. In a story, even when things don't seem to be going in the right direction, you have to fight, to find happiness again.

Juventus has changed. It has changed with the introduction of new faces, it has changed in attitude, it has changed in hunger. The group is united under the new leadership of Coach Massimiliano Canzi, a fine strategist and highly skilled man manager. The team is in good shape, and it took control of the league in the first half of the season, always harbouring those desires that are now taking shape. Roma are lagging behind, Inter are trying to keep up, but it soon became clear that the breakaway could materialise into the opportunity to achieve the team’s goal. Once past the obstacles, Juve became unstoppable and the lead would become unassailable.

There is no more hiding. The Bianconere’s celebration at the Allianz Stadium in October against Roma demonstrates the scale of the team’s growth. In the Champions League they did themselves justice, they forge ahead in the Coppa Italia, but the fixation is to once again win the Scudetto that has evaded the team for too long now. This team deserves it, it sees the opportunity to seize it. And, despite a few potholes in the path placed here and there, there will be very few blemishes looking back on an excellent campaign. Smiling, the thought becomes reality, the title is in their grasp.
