According to Sport Bild, Brighton & Hove Albion coach Fabian Hürzeler and Oliver Glasner are leading candidates to replace Kasper Hjulmand at Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

For some time, reports have suggested Hjulmand’s tenure is likely to end at the close of the season.

Hürzeler, 33, is said to have a release clause below €15 million and has informed the Premier League club that he would like to coach a team competing in European competition.

Talks between Leverkusen and Hürzeler are expected to take place soon.

Glasner is also on the shortlist and will not extend his expiring Crystal Palace contract, though he is said to prefer a move within the Premier League.
