FLW's Southampton fan pundit has had his say on Caspar Jander's future at St. Mary's amid growing transfer interest...
This article is part of Football League World's 'Terrace Talk' series, which provides personal opinions from our FLW Fan Pundits regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more..
Caspar Jander only joined Southampton from the German second division in the summer, but interest has grown already from Dutch giants Ajax and Bundesliga duo RB Leipzig and VfB Stuttgart.
The midfielder has played 29 times for the club, with 26 of those coming as starts since his arrival. However, Shea Charles' return from injury and scoring the winner in the 4-3 thriller against Leicester City now means competition for places has increased.
At just 22, Jander has plenty of potential. Southampton know that after sealing a deal for him late in the summer window on a four-year contract for around £10.4 million (BBC Sport).
They will want to retain him for as long as possible, with Jander one of a number of players who is potentially capable of stepping up to English football's top flight. The play-offs are in reach after that dramatic night in Leicester.

Southampton's new midfielder is reportedly ready to take the next step to a higher level, which could mean losing him without a play-off position and another Wembley win. That said, the German would cost plenty already.
Jander's current valuation from Southampton is between €15-25 million, which is around £13-22 million. FLW's Saints fan pundit Martin Sanders has had his say on that and whether it is imperative they keep hold of him to build the side around him.
He said: "Yeah, I did see that link. I'm not seeing anything yet to say he's worth that (circa. £20 million). He's not bad. He's a good player. I don't know if he's actually worth 20 million quid yet, though.
"It would be best for him to have a bit more time where he is, but he had probably his worst game for us on Wednesday night. I don't want to say he had a stinker but he had an absolute stinker.
"It was so, so bad. The poorest performance I have seen from him. But he's a good player and he's very young. He's not physically really strong yet. He's got a fair bit of work to do to really fill himself out.
"Like [Tyler] Dibling worked really hard and did well to get himself really strong. I think he's a little way off that. But, look, I was surprised when I saw the links I've now seen.
"But it's obviously coming via his agent and a journo in Germany."

The 22-year-old has already been on the move plenty in his early career, but a return to Germany could be on the cards if his current side don't immediately return to the Premier League.
Southampton are now ninth and just a point behind Wrexham in sixth, albeit having played a game more. Keeping Jander and Charles fit could be crucial to their success this season under Tonda Eckert.
As a duo, they have plenty of the attributes to balance one another well. They could build the team around them for now and possibly some years to come, should they win promotion and also survive the drop from the Premier League.
Jander may not yet be a £20 million+ player, but it would not take long for him to be considered as one if he performs consistently between now and May.
