Teenage Southampton winger Jay Robinson is set to join newly-promoted Serie A outfit Monza on a season-long loan deal for the 2026-27 season according to the latest updates in Italy.

Monza set to sign Robinson on loan from Southampton

According to reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Robinson will join Monza on a straight, season-long loan deal without an option or obligation to buy.

Robinson has made 28 appearances for Southampton across all competitions since making his professional debut in 2025. Four of those outings came in the Premier League in 2024-25 and 23 in the Championship in 2025-26. Robinson netted two goals in his first season in the English second tier last season.

He has also represented England at every age group from U16s up to the U19s.

Robinson is set to bolster Monza’s attacking ranks as they prepare for their first season back in the Italian top flight after a play-off victory over US Catanzaro at the end of the 2025-26 season.

Monza have already welcomed over 10 new signings this summer transfer window, including the likes of Hernani, Filippo Delli Carri, Pedro Obiang, Luca Ravanelli and Patrick Cutrone.
