UEFA Women’s EURO Qualifiers: France get late winner in Sweden | OneFootball

France won away to Sweden in UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 Qualifying, Spain made it ten goals in two games while Belgium have conceded eleven.

League A

Group 1 – Netherlands 1-0 Norway, Finland 2-1 Italy Group 2 – Denmark 4-2 Belgium, Spain 3-1 Czechia Group 3 – Sweden 0-1 France, Republic of Ireland 0-2 England Group 4 – Poland 1-3 Austria, Germany 3-1 Iceland

All Group A1 teams are on three points from two games, Jutta Rantala equalised as Finland fought back to beat Italy, Lineth Beerensteyn’s sixth-minute goal for the Netherlands was enough to defeat Norway.

Spain and Denmark have back-to-back wins in Group A2, Amalie Vangsgaard’s double set up Denmark’s win over Belgium who have conceded 11 goals in two games, Spain came from behind to see off Czechia who had taken a 56th-minute lead.

France lead Group A3 from England, after a Wendie Renard breakthrough gave them victory in Sweden. France had substitute Vicki Becho sent off deep into added time. Lauren James and an Alex Greenwood penalty saw England beat Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Germany lead Group A4 aided by Lea Schuller’s first-half double against Iceland, Eileen Campbell’s late goal for Austria sealed them three points in Poland.

League B

Group 1 – Turkiye 2-1 Hungary, Azerbaijan 0-4 Switzerland Group 2 – Israel 2-4 Serbia, Scotland 1-0 Slovakia Group 3 – Malta 0-2 Portugal, Bosnia & Herzegovina 1-3 Northern Ireland Group 4 – Kosovo 0-6 Wales, Croatia 1-0 Ukraine

Turkiye struck twice in the last ten minutes to overcome a half-time deficit against Hungary.

Sophie Howard headed Scotland to victory over Slovakia at Hampden, Serbia lead the table after winning in Israel.

Wales have netted ten goals without reply after two games, Rachel Rowe and Elise Hughes bagging braces in Kosovo. Croatia got off the mark against Ukraine.

Northern Ireland have four points from two matches, boosted by victory away to Bosnia & Herzegovina, Portugal ended Malta’s long unbeaten run with two second-half goals.

League C

Group 1 – Lithuania 1-0 Cyprus, Belarus 3-0 Georgia Group 2 – North Macedonia 0-5 Slovenia, Moldova 0-1 Latvia Group 3 – Montenegro 5-1 Faroe Islands, Andorra 0-3 Greece Group 4 – Romania 1-0 Kazakhstan, Bulgaria 2-3 Armenia Group 5 – Albania 2-0 Estonia

Bulgaria drew level against Armenia with an 85th-minute penalty, only to lose out in stoppage time and also have a player dismissed.
